Blackrow Trails — Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Blackrow Trails mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on any device that you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the app store from which you obtained it. This license does not allow you to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the App except as permitted by law.

2. Subscriptions (Trail Pro)

• Trail Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offered as a monthly or annual plan. The current price is shown in the App at the point of purchase in your local currency.
• An optional 14-day free trial may be offered. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.

3. Safety disclaimer

The App provides maps, trail data, navigation aids, and an augmented-reality marker for informational purposes only. Map, trail, elevation, public-land, and weather data come from third parties and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The default base map comes from OpenTopoMap, a free service run by volunteers with no guarantee of availability, and any live source can be slow or unreachable without notice. Save the maps you need before you lose signal. The App is not a substitute for proper preparation, judgment, official maps, or appropriate safety equipment. You are solely responsible for your own safety. Do not rely on the App as your only means of navigation, and do not operate it in a way that distracts you from hazards. Outdoor activity carries inherent risks, including serious injury or death.

4. Your content

Tracks, waypoints, plans, and exports you create remain yours and are stored on your device. You are responsible for any files you choose to export or share.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
